OR YAROK chairman - Avi Naor (President & CEO of Amdocs, 1995-2002), is one of the most prominent and appreciated businessmen in Israel.
Born in Haifa, Israel, on July 13, 1948.
After completing his military service, Avi Naor studied at the Technion in Haifa, where he earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science in 1974.
In 1976 he joined the Aurec Group, and in 1982 was a member of the team that founded Amdocs. Amdocs is currently a public company traded on NYSE, with a market cap of $8 Billion. On its payroll are 10,000 employees. 
At Amdocs, Avi held the position of Senior Vice President until 1995, when he was appointed President and CEO. In 1998 he led the Amdocs IPO on the NYSE, and subsequently headed major acquisitions and secondary offerings.
Avi is closely involved in several projects in the community, particularly battle against road accidents and helping youth in distress.
